DESCRIPTION:Join Mark Seddon for an afternoon of conversation with Jeremy Corbyn MP. \nJeremy Corbyn has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Islington North since 1983. A prominent figure on the left wing of politics\, he was Leader of the Labour Party and was elected Leader of the Opposition from 2015 to 2020. \nAfter being suspended by Keir Starmer from the Labour Party in 2020\, he has sat as an independent MP until forming 鈥榊our Party鈥� in 2025 and recently elected as its leader. \nCorbyn is a strong supporter of the peace movement and has been a prominent opponent of the Afghanistan\, Iraq and now Iran War. He is also a long standing supporter of the right of the Palestinians and others to self-determination.

DESCRIPTION:The University of 麻豆直播 Law School will be holding a virtual showcase evening for its evening-study鈥疨art-Time LLB (Hons) Law degree this May. \nDuring the webinar\, attendees will have the chance to hear from lecturers who teach on the programme\, as well as current students and graduates. The graduates will describe the positive impact of gaining a law degree by part-time study with 麻豆直播 Law School has had on their careers and lives\, and there will be a chance to ask questions to the panel. \nAbout the programme\nThis is an opportunity for prospective students to see how you can gain a law degree in just four years\, while working or continuing with existing responsibilities. The Part-Time LLB requires students to attend weekly seminars one evening during term-time\, alongside independent study. The programme has a typical three-term format\, with teaching taking place from October to鈥� June\, and breaks at Christmas and Easter\, as well as the long summer break. \n麻豆直播鈥檚 evening-study model is designed to offer a unique method of study.鈥� It combines the advantage of motivational\, productive feedback at regular Wednesday evening seminars with the convenience of flexible learning around full-time work\, home/care responsibility and other commitments.
