Personal Learning Record Privacy Notice 2025/26

The information you supply is used by the Learning Records Service (LRS). The LRS issues Unique Learner Numbers (ULN) and creates Personal Learning Records across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and is operated by the Department for Education (DfE) in England.

We will use your data on the LRS system to complete the following actions:

  • view your qualifications to offer guidance or support enrolment
  • view your qualifications to check their eligibility for funding
  • get or create your unique learner number (ULN) to make a claim for funding
  • get your ULN to register you for an exam
