Mount Pleasant Campus Accommodation

This accommodation provides an exciting and relaxing place for our students to live, with facilities designed to offer a convenient and enjoyable lifestyle.

The accommodation features:

  • En-suite twin bedrooms: fully furnished, designed for two students.
  • En-suite double rooms: fully furnished, single occupancy.
  • 6 suites: for couples or married students.
  • Standard self-catered rooms: Fully furnished single-occupancy rooms.
  • Large, open study and social spaces: designated areas available for students to study and socialise.
  • Designated quiet study spaces: perfect for focussing.
  • On-site facilities: including a bar.
  • Free onsite gym, swimming pool and spa access: Revival membership included with accommodation.
  • Walking distance: approximately a 10 minute walk to our Verney Park Campus, and a 15-20 minute walk to our Hunter Street Campus.
  • Catered accommodation: breakfast and evening meals served Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
  • Bathroom cleaning: En-suite bathrooms are professionally cleaned fortnightly. Shared bathrooms serving the standard self-catered rooms are cleaned daily, Monday to Friday.
  • Free laundry facilities: washers and dryers.
  • Free WiFi
  • Kitchen facilities: Two student kitchens are available for residents in catered accommodation during weekends and University vacation periods. Residents in the self-catered accommodation have access to a large, fully equipped communal kitchen.

Rooms

The twin rooms each have two single beds, while the couples’ rooms have a super-king size bed. Each student will also have their own bedside units, chest of drawers and wardrobe space. The rooms will also feature:

  • Standard self-catered single rooms: Standard single bed.

All rooms are fully furnished and include:

  • Bedside unit
  • Chest of drawers
  • Wardrobe space (for each occupant where applicable)
  • Bedside lamp
  • Television (ensuite rooms only)
  • Mini fridge
  • Kettle (ensuite rooms only)

All en-suite rooms have their own private bathroom. The 12 standard self-catered rooms share two bathrooms and two separate WCs.
