Payment Methods
For new students
Medical students:Â You are required to pay the non-returnable Tuition Deposit during the application process.
For all other courses, you are required to pay your Tuition deposit before or at Registration. The University reserves the right to refuse to register students without the required payment, in cleared funds. Tuition Fees & Accommodation payment is via Debit/Credit card, via our payment portal . Please note we cannot accept American Express or cash at any time.
Deposit amounts and Terms fees will have been notified to you in you offer letter and Accommodation confirmation
For students with confirmation of a Student Finance England Tuition Loan, we are happy to deduct the appropriate term’s loan equivalent from the registration payment.
You should not rely on maintenance loans to meet the shortfall in your tuition fees: you will not receive these funds until after you have registered.

Scholarships and bursaries
We would like to remind you that if you seek assistance in funding your course, Scholarships and Bursaries must be applied for 10 weeks in advance of registration.
For continuing students
Tuition fees and accommodation fees remain payable before the start of term and can be made via our payment portal or you can call in to the office by phone or in person to pay by debit or credit card.
For reasons of security of students and staff, and of insurance, the Student Fees Office does not accept payment in cash.
If you are considering bringing cash into the UK, please be aware that amounts over £10,000 in cash are required by law to be accompanied by documentation demonstrating their legitimate origin. For more information please visit: .
